Usama Mir carried the momentum for Pakistan with the ball as they beat New Zealand by 102 runs to win fourth ODI in Karachi on Friday.
Mir, who replaced Shadab Khan for today's ODI, bagged four wickets to help Pakistan bowl out New Zealand for 232 in 43.4 overs.
Mohammad Wasim Jr supported Mir from the other end as he bagged three wickets.
Skipper Tom Latham fought hard for New Zealand but couldn't take his team over the victory line. Mark Chapman made 46 including four boundaries and three maximums.
Earlier, Babar Azam scored convincing century as Pakistan posted 334-6 in fourth ODI.
After being sent into bat first, opener Fakhar Zaman lost his wicket earlier but Shan Masood partnered strongly with Babar to stabilise Pakistan's innings. Both shared 50-runs partnership to set the tone for Pakistan.
Babar brought up his 18th ODI century and helped Pakistan dominate in first innings. He also completed his 5000 ODI runs that too fastest in just 97 innings.
Agha Salman contributed 58 runs and his worthy partnership of 117 runs guided Pakistan to a good total.
Iftikhar Ahmed's quick 28 and Shaheen Afridi's 23-run cameo also played an important role in Pakistan's mammoth total.
For New Zealand, Matt Henry bagged three wickets while Ben Lister and Ish Sodhi shared a wicket apiece.

New Zealand have won the toss and decided to bowl first against Pakistan in the fourth ODI of the five-match series in Karachi on Friday (today).
Pakistan have made five changes as compared to New Zealand's three.
Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Haris, Usama Mir and Haris Rauf are included in the starting XI for the fourth ODI.
"We would have preferred to bat first had we won the toss," said Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam. "Pitch is looking good and we will try to score around 290 runs."
Babar will be playing his 99th ODI for the Green Shirts where he is set to break another record.
Babar is just 19 runs away from becoming the fastest player to make 5000 ODI runs, going past South Africa's Hashim Amla who achieved the feat in 101 innings.
It must be noted that Pakistan registered their first one-day international series win over New Zealand in 12 years with a hard-fought 26-run victory in the third match in Karachi on Wednesday.
Imam-ul-Haq scored a 107-ball 90 while Babar Azam made a 62-ball 54 for his 26th ODI half-century to guide Pakistan to 287-6 in their 50 overs.
Opener Tom Blundell hit 65 for New Zealand while debutant Cole McConchie struck an undefeated 45-ball 64 but the visitors were bowled out for 261 in 49.1 overs.
Pakistan, who won the first two matches by five and seven wickets respectively in Rawalpindi, took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
Pakistan´s last ODI series win over New Zealand was in 2011 and since then they had lost six of the seven series, with one drawn.
